StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Season 5 Group Stage Complete

Fnatic, OpTIc Gaming, Vega Squadron, and VGJ.Thunder all advanced out of the StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Season 5 group stage, which ran from April 12-14th. All four teams have secured Dota 2 Pro Circuit qualifying points as they are now the top four teams for the tournament. Fnatic is playing with their coach, Adam Shah, which means the squad will only receive 75% of the points earned by their final placement at the tournament, while Adam will pick up 50%.

The playoff is a single elimination bracket, with best-of-three series played for the semi-finals followed by a best-of-five grand finals. All three series will be played on April 15th in the CyberSport Arena in Kiev, Ukraine.

Patch 7.13

On April 12th, Valve released Patch 7.13. Among other things, this patch adjusted the way attributes worked, setting class bonuses to a flat 25% and removing class-specific perks. The next day, Valve issued 7.13b to make slight tweaks to strength and intelligence heroes. The latter had their base strength buffed slightly, presumably to address concerns about hit points for intelligence heroes with the new calculations. Please refer to Valve’s official patch notes for all of the details.
